Higher education institutions, in the moment they sign the ECHE, commit to fulfill all the Charter's principles to grant a high quality mobility, watching that the students are prepared to confront it. This includes guaranteeing they have reached the necessary level of linguistic competence, as giving proper language support to participants.
Financial rules include as possible organization-covered expenses the linguistic and intercultural preparation, offered to entering and outgoing students as well as to staff.
Therefore, language support may be provided in two ways:Online Language Support (OLS)
Online Language Support (OLS) helps Erasmus+ participants to learn languages. OLS provides participants in Erasmus+ long-term mobility activities (Key Action 1) with the opportunity to assess their knowledge of the language they will use to study, work or volunteer abroad. In addition, the Online Linguistic Support gives to a number of participants the possibility to follow an online language course to improve their competences.
